Have been meaning to paint this guy for AGES!!! I only have old pics of him but this is a recent pic.

Am going to share something about myself now which may be mildly interesting. Skin are/were a 90's rock band who i adored and saw loads of times. I am aware that most of you lovely people won't know who i'm talking about because they were never a hugely famous band :boo: Anyway, a while ago i scanned Facebook and YouTube for anything about this band and only found the video for Mr Bean's I Want To Be Elected (they played on that under a different name). So i decided to set up a group on Facebook to find out if there are any other fans and was pleasantly surprised to find there are loads! Unfortunately, for me anyway, another guy set up a similar group and we merged Skin groups. Then guess what happened...members of Skin appeared on that group and then they REFORMED :faint: The unfortunate thing for me is that i got left behind and forgotten :lonely: Plus i never got to go to the Download Festival to see them neither :boo: I know this is a sad tale (for me) but it's true. I am so pleased that they have played again and that there are so many other fans. I missed you guys, Nev, Myke, Andy and Dicki :tighthug:
I must thank John Meredith and Jamie McHale though cos they did put my name on the newer Skin group :hug: They are just a lot more outspoken than i :XD:
Also, i painted this on the suggestion of Rachel Howley who has been a fantastic friend to me :hug:
Now i'm going to hide under this bag :ashamed:

love skin i almost have all their albums !!! i love this and i cant believe i've found such a fantastic painting of Nev, ive done a few fan art sketches but nothing upload worthy,im going to see them on December 11th at Manchester academy hope to see you there :D

i think he will love it, skin fans have really been supporting skin these past few months, kerrang really changed their colours by giving skin the respect they deserve (it only took them 11 years X3 ) but yer i cannot wait to hear their new songs, its going to be EPIC!!!!!

:dance: yeah, was really cool. I gave him a couple of my paintings...he seemed pleased! Yeah, i did...it's really good...very pleased with it. There was a good turn out, but then they always were very popular here. There's a thing that i assume is to do with Norwich that always happened during a gig. Someone would always bellow out 'COME ON YOU F**KERS'! Of course people were shouting it last night :giggle: Was a great night :)
